S5P4418 使用SD卡啟動Android系統

S5P4418的啟動方式

我的板子是g4418box,默認的從eMMC啟動,如果插入了SD卡那麼就從SD啟動,具體的板子需要看HW設計。

SD卡的layout

在layout之前我們需要知道各個分區的大小,而編譯出來的img是sparse的ext4,所以需要先convert到標准的ext4,然後再mount,mount之後可以看到對應的size:

對SD卡分區

使用Gparted的分區後情況如下,注意size與extension分區:

ramdisk的處理

我們可以按照以前的做法將ramdisk打包成cpio的gzip,但是這樣的話如果要修改ramdisk裡面的內容會比較麻煩,修改方法可以看我以前的博客。所以這裡決定使用專門一個分區放ramdisk,同時也將uImage也放在這個boot分區

修改fstab

因為默認編譯出來的是從eMMC中啟動,而我們需要更改fstab,讓vold知道如何mount我們的分區,

在修改之前我們需要確定分區的mmcblk number,這個可以直接啟動ramdisk最小系統就行了,因為ramdisk啟動完成後沒有啟動其他的service也是可以使用的。

我們我們需要確定哪個是eMMC哪個是SD卡,這個可以對比以前的fstab完成:

可以看到emmc是mmcblk0,而靠近reset button的SD是mmcblk1.

最主要的是system,cache,data,修改後的如下:

需要注意的是,需要將原來最後的mmc1的mount注釋掉。否則會出問題。

 

 

燒寫image到各個SD卡分區

類似的命令如下:

 

sudo dd if=out/target/product/g4418/system_ext4.img  of=/dev/sdc2 bs=10M
sudo dd if=out/target/product/g4418/cache_ext4.img  of=/dev/sdc3 bs=10M

然後拷貝ramdisk,與uImage:

 

 

sudo cp ./linux/kernel/kernel-3.4.39/arch/arm/boot/uImage /media/hexiongjun/boot
 sudo cp -r out/target/product/g4418/root/* /media/hexiongjun/


 

修改bootargs

默認啟動後的bootargs如下:

我們將ramdisk放到了boot分區,需要將其指定為boot:

bootcmd的修改

默認的是這樣子的:

我們已經不需要ramdisk了:

啟動

啟動後我們查看一下是否所有的service都已經啟動完成,分區是否正確mount。

可以看到data system與cache分區都正確mount了。

 

 

去掉healthd的不停的log輸出

使用stop healthd即可完成。
